News 2025 - Bus transport with bike

Now you have the opportunity to bring yourself and your bike back to the starting point of your cycling trip — or take the bus part of the way toward your destination.

Dalslands Buss operates a bus service with a bike trailer along the Unionsleden trail every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer of 2026. It’s the perfect solution for anyone cycling along one of the national cycling routes in the area.

Departures

The service starts on 16 June 2025 and runs twice a week until 13 August 2025.

Tuesdays: Bäckefors – Karlstad – Moss – Bäckefors (counterclockwise) Thursdays: Bäckefors – Moss – Karlstad – Bäckefors (clockwise)

The bus has space for your luggage and includes a bike trailer where you can easily load your own bicycle.

Book your trip at least 2 days before departure.

Bicycles are included in all tickets

When booking, you specify at which stop you want to board the bus.

Ticket Zone A (yellow): Karlstad – Moss

Ticket Zone B (orange): Bäckefors – Kristinehamn

Ticket Zone C (blue): Bäckefors – Moss
