Hiking trails to the top
Three trails show you the way to Dalsland's highest point, Baljåsen, 302 meters above sea level. The trails vary in difficulty and length. At the highest point of Baljåsen there is a simpler cabin with 3 beds and TC.
Baljåsen orange trail
Starts from the parking lot at Petersborg and goes via Björndalsberget to Baljåsen's rest cabin. Nice views. Hilliness: Strong
Length: 1.7 km
Baljåsen via white trail
From Petersborg to Klöverudsåsen you can turn off to the orange trail that continues to Baljåsen. The trail goes through a valley formation.
Gradient: Moderate
Length: 1.8 km
Top cabin
If you want to choose an easy trail to hike to the top cabin on Baljåsen - pass Petersborg via the road 600 m and then turn left at the sign Baljåsen.
Gradient: Moderate
Length: 2.5 km

Starts from Petersborg. The trail passes the croft ruin Södra Björndalen. Nice view of Edslan.

Yellow trail
From St. Petersborg to Ängebytjärnet with the possibility of sport fishing. Windbreak, TC.
Gradient: Easy

Stay at Edsleskogs Wärdshus
If you want to stay overnight, Edsleskogs Wärdshus is not far from the trail. Beautifully located by Lake Edslan.
