Just south of the center of Mysen, bordered by the Mysene river on both the east and west sides, lies this beautiful burial ground. On a hill between two bends of the Mysenelva. It consists of a total of 12 burial mounds. We are not aware of any finds that can date the mounds, but by all accounts they are from the older Iron Age (approx. 100-500 AD). Three information signs give you an insight into life in the Iron Age. There are also benches and tables here.
