In the parish museum ther are approx. 8,000 items spanning the period from the 16th century to the present day. Here there is an exhibition of fire brigade equipment and a unique Police Museum with old police equipment from the Police in Säffle and Karlstad. Next to the stable building is Widén's old forge. The museum is located in central Nysäter near the old market stalls. Bookings for visits are made by phone or at the Handicraft Café during the summer, it is only a short distance from the museum.
