At Laxsjöns Camping & Friluftsgård there are several activity opportunities for the whole family. Play minigolf, bath, or jump on bounce mats. Thanks to its unique location, in the middle of the Dalsland Channel Lake Laxsjöns Camping Friluftsgård can also offer one of Europe’s top paddle and fishing waters. Why not rent a canoe or boat for a ride on the lake?

Do you bicycle any of Unionsleden, Swedenleden or Dalslandsleden? Then you pass the campsite and can overnight, shower, buy coffee, replenish air or practice the balance on the tech track.
In the summer, DVVJ’s “Summer Train” stops on the open air yard’s own parrong.

At Laxsjön Camping and Friluftsgård there are campsites and tents of all kinds. Choose whether you want to lie at the forest edge, more openly or with sea views. Two-to-six-bed cabins and accommodation in multi-bedrooms at the hostel. There are fine outdoor areas to stroll around in and your own bay for dog baths where the family’s four-legged members are always welcome.

Restaurant

Restaurant The pub on the hill is open during the summer; full rights and serves everything from pizza and burgers to hot-smoking salmon. They also organize different events.

In the area around Lax Sea Camping Friluftsgård you can visit Dalsland Activities, Baldersnäs manor house, Halmens house in Bengtsfors and Akvedukten in Håverud, rock carvings, Åmåls trail, beautiful motorcycle roads, exhibitions and much more.

Lax Sea Camping and Friluftsgård are operated by Dalsland Activities – one of the largest activity facilities in the West Sweden. Here you can, among other things, ride high altitude track, shoot arrowbow and visit the mooses in the hall – as well as shop local delicacies in the wildlife shop!
